Recently, on a rainy evening cycle over the Manhattan Bridge, I decided it was time to share what I have photographed this past year during my travels to Turkey and India.

Turkey. Hour upon hour spent driving cross country, starting in Istanbul and moving towards the Iraqi border and then pushing back up the coast, through the most touristy areas. I even went aloft in a hot air balloon to survey the lava landscape of the Fairy Towers!

India. Venturing all the way eastward, I covered more than 2000 km in a week. I experienced everything from the vast metropolis of Delhi to the rural landscapes and fantastic tribal markets in the state of Orissa .
